Description
Both of the stamps in this set were released to accommodate new rates and new destinations in 1937. The recently expanded Trans-Pacific route now included destinations like Hong Kong, Macao, and Guam. The new 50 and 20 cent denominations allowed for easy addition up to the required total postage cost. Featured on both stamps is the China Clipper. This US Airmail Stamp Set is in Mint condition and includes the following stamps:
- 1937 U.S. C21 Airmail Stamp – Trans-Pacific 20 cents
- 1937 U.S. C22 Airmail Stamp – Trans-Pacific 50 cents
