As part of the American Folk Art series, the U.S. issued this Commemorative Stamp Block in honor of the art of woodcarving figurines. This Mint condition, never hinged stamp block of 4 includes the following United States postage stamps:
- 1986 U.S. Stamp #2240 – 22 cent Woodcarved Highlander
- 1986 U.S. Stamp #2241 – 22 cent Woodcarved Ship Figurehead
- 1886 U.S. Stamp #2242 – 22 cent Woodcarved Nautical Figure
- 1986 U.S. Stamp #2243 – 22 cent Woodcarved Cigar Store Figure
